Jason Rivera, MD, MPH is a dynamic and compassionate physician practicing occupational medicine at Colorado Occupational Medical Partners. He is double board-certified in both Family Medicine and Preventive Medicine, while also holding a Masters of Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. Dr. Rivera brings his extensive background in public health, preventive medicine, and family medicine to provide comprehensive healthcare services in an efficient manner.
His background as a Hispanic physician from an underserved community guides his values of justice and equity for the most vulnerable populations. Dr. Rivera has proven ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners while leading initiatives advocating for those in most need.
Dr. Rivera is Level II Accredited with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. He is an FAA trained Senior Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) who also received additional training and is HIMS certified as well. His comprehensive approach to patient care emphasizes health promotion, disease prevention, and getting employees back to optimal health and function.
Outside of work, Dr. Rivera loves to spend time with his wife, four dogs, and two younger brothers. He is always trying new foods and exploring new scenery. Jason loves the Denver Nuggets and disc golf.
